We only met Wayne and Heather for lunch one day in November 2015, when Wayne and I took a walk through the dunes before sharing a family lunch at the Golf Club. But, Heather had been a family ‘cousin’ for several years before that. Together we built our shared family history, with Heather being my second cousins twice removed. In that time I have felt part of Heather and Wayne’s family as we have shared news about our children and grandchildren. I have heard about the exciting and memorable days spent travelling through Europe and Wayne’s arrival in Australia to the petroleum industry.
Whilst Heather will miss her beloved travelling companion of 46 shared years, she has the support of her children and grandchildren.
Whilst we can’t be with Heather at this celebration of Wayne’s life, we are pleased our son will be representing us.

Fond memories of Wayne pounding the pavement always up for a chat. A true gentleman.
Deepest sympathy to Heather, Stephen, Kerrie and families. Overseas at present, thinking of you all!
