Our beautiful Niece Valerie,

Your creative and caring soul was a huge part of who you are. You read widely, wrote your fiction, and were firmly an intellectual. We were looking forward to reading your books one day, watching you go to university in your floppy hat, and making dumplings together. I cherish all our conversations, and I will watch those shows you recommend.

Your family treasures and loves you so much; we are all utterly heartbroken that you had to go.
