Dear Mum/ Nana Marie, Dennis & I were truly blessed to each have such wonderful mums & nanas in our lives & that of our children.

Even when she was in failing health Nana Marie was able to offer comfort to her family, in particular her great grandchildren.

Dear Carlon family and extended family. You all have been a stalwart, of connection, fun and community to me, Mum, Mark and partners since we first met you all so many years ago. I never forget the famous Christmas gatherings and the Reunions. Aunty Marie and Uncle Jim headed these events of love, family and support like true captains of the family. Mum has been deeply moved in this last couple of weeks but thanks to your communication system was able to speak with her on a few occasions and we are eternally grateful of her massive contributions to our lives over the decades. Hugs, thoughts and sincere empathy for such a huge loss, and we will hold you in our hearts. Love Karen, Bernie, Mark, Belinda and Aunty Pattie 🙏Ostenried.

Mum. You’ve carried us in so many ways over your long lifetime. You’ve shown us how to be kind, generous, aware and brave.
