I feel deep sorrow ever since I have learnt about the loss of my beloved aunt.I feel that a part of me has died as she was my connection to my dad who died so early.She stood up for us in really difficult moments
She gave me advice and affected my life.She was a person with a big heart and a strong character who succeeded so much in life.

Our beloved Yiayia,

Our hearts are broken, but the memories will live on & be cherished forever. You were the best yiayia a kid could ask for. Your love, support, care & big warm heart of gold will be missed. Very grateful we got to spend time with you before we left on our world trip in May, bringing flowers every visit. On the days we didn’t buy them your great grand children picking some especially for you.

I will never forget one of the last conversations we had about the notes I wrote you when I was a kid in the fish & chip shop saying “ I love you yiayia” and how you kept them in your bag for years…
