Sending deepest condolences! What a beautiful service today, joining Joy's family and friends to remember a life worth living. Joy is a beautiful friend for nearly 30 years, who constantly encourages and inspires me. Our shared interest in poetry and faith binds us together closely. She embodies her name - full of joy. It was such a privilege to celebrate her 100th birthday recently before I head for an overseas mission trip. Even then, she encouraged me to take some of her poetry books to bless other nations. I was going to visit her last weekend and introduce her to my 86-year-old mother as I drove from Melbourne….After hearing the news, my heart was filled with grief as I passed by her house at Barwen Head on the weekend. I will be forever missing her! However, I also know that we will meet again, not for too long. May she rest in peace and be filled with complete joy in the presence of glorious God. much love and prayers for the family at this time. Sharlee xo Read more
