I had the pleasure of working with John for a couple of years, always the gentlemen and quick with a joke.
My condolences and thoughts with the family and friends.
My heartfelt sympathy's to all of johns family, John you were far more than just a branch manager at Yarra Street in 1978 when I first met you.
You were a sincere and friendly face every time we met and an example of how to treat people, both in business and life in general.
Thank you for the memories John.

You were such a gentle man Toby, I’ll never forget the kindness and patience shown to nan and pa. My kids still talk about the time you took them for a drive in your Cadillac and let them eat ice creams! And jet skiing at St Leonards. In our hearts always .

Sometimes it’s hard not to wish for one more day of laughter and memories. I feel privileged in knowing him while I worked at Middys Head Office. He always seemed to have a knack to make me smile when he visited.

men with a heart of gold. You always greeted everybody the same, with that great big smile followed by, "how is the family going". Always smartly dressed and your shoes polished like a mirror.
