Thinking of you all today Aunty Yvonne, Lisa, Mark and David. I have many happy memories of family times spent together. I will always remember Uncle John as a lovely man with a big, kind smile who was always fun and enjoyed a chat.
Sorry I cannot be there in person today but will be watching from here.
Rest in peace Uncle John.
Love and thoughts to all xx

Our sincerest condolences to Yvonne, Mark and all the family.
Thinking of you all at such a sad time. I will cherish the memories of the farm in Yarra Glen and the times we spent there talking horses and cattle. RIP John x

My deepest condolences to Yvonne and the family on the loss of John Burnell. I met John through Yvonne and it impressed me that they were a loving, caring couple. John was such a kind, considerate and lovely man. It was such a privilege to know him. I have fond memories of the times we got together. May John Rest in Peace. 🙏

It is with sadness we confirm to family and friends that after an extended time in aged care in Torquay our John passed peacefully at his home. We remember him as a loving husband to Yvonne, proud father of Lisa, Mark and David, doting grandfather to Celia, Kyle, Alice, Michael, Lachlan, Thomas and Charlie and great grandfather to Emery, Shiloh, and Mabel. We will miss him, and we cherish the memories that we all shared growing up under his love and generosity. Dad had a big smile and big heart, and he was always willing to help. Life at the farm was always a place for adventure and learning.
Blessings and love from us all.
