DJ
I can't believe you're gone.
So many memories of our time as kids, our teenage years. Funny, treasured memories. As adults we saw each other less but each time we did, the chats and laughs made it feel like no time had passed.
Reunited with Max, both of you my brothers from another mother. And little Becky, an angel waiting for her big brother.
I will never understand why you had to go.
Not everything happens for a reason.
X

Oh DJ, so many memories of fun times and shenanigans growing up with you. Queensland, Bali, just to name a few. A zest for life and little fear in giving anything a go. Always a cheeky smile on your face. Quite hard believe you"re gone. Fly high DJ, and don't wreak too much havoc up there with Chris and Becky ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ•Š

Dear Pam, Dave, Rohan & Derryn's wider family,

whilst I'd not seen Derryn for a number of years, I'm still heartbroken by the loss of a man who was so full of life, energy & passion.

I won't forget the times we spent together as youngsters - Derryn always the 'leader' & me his trusty understudy.

"DJ" was a born leader; some people just are. I could always picture him as the captain of a football team or holding a position of authority in the workforce. He was just a natural at taking charge - something I always envied & wish I had myself.

To the Lunn family, all I can say is that Derryn left an indelible mark on so many during his life, including me & my family.

Tonight, I'll look to the sky & I'm fully expecting to see a star shining as bright as a beacon - I'll know that's "DJ"; he was always shining bright.

Rest In Peace, mate.

Anthony Brady.

Derryn,

Though its been sometime, this news is heartbreaking.

We navigated so much of our younger lives together and my memories are filled with love and laughter.

To all that knew and loved him you know he had the biggest of hearts and was always the first person there when you needed someone.

Rest in peace.
