Einstein said, ' Try not to become a person of success, but rather a person of value. ' Bernie's use of his gifts and qualities in the service of others as a husband, father, teacher, educational leader, mentor and fried made him a person of inestimable value who accepted his success with honesty and humility. His support, guidance and education of those he worked with and led as well as the pupils he taught at Bacchus Marsh Primary School left an indelible legacy. Bernie eating lunch as he heard children read is one of many treasured memories. May our God welcome and love him as we did. Margaret Love
