Condolences in the passing of Mervyn. One recalls the early days in Mildura that helped shape those fortunate enough to have known it, Vallance family.
My thoughts and wishes are with Chris and Gavan and families. As my brother in-law I fondly recall Merv as a cheeky ratbag in his younger days. I will miss our phone chats.
My deepest condolences to Merv's family. He was a true gentleman, a remarkable publican, and a wonderful man. Merv was a highly respected member of the Barwon Heads Cricket Club Board of Control and an incredible person to share a beer and a chat with. His presence will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Merv.
