Stokes, Mary Leonie (nee Donnellan) Passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025 Aged 92 years Dearly loved wife of Michael Bernard Stokes (dec). Much loved Mum of Brian, Peter, Adrian, Kathleen, Damien, Vincent, Rose, (Jacinta & Therese dec), and their families. Mary was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. The Stokes family extends its thanks and gratitude to all the Health and Care Staff at Hesse Rural Health Service, including Doctors, Nurses, Catering, Cleaning, Administration, Support and Maintenance for their support over the past two and a half years. Your service was an amazing support during her time at Hesse.
My Dearest Mum, Words cannot express how deeply heartbroken we both are. Your suffering is now over. Thankfully, God has taken you in to His loving arms peacefully. You can now rest, & be reunited with your beloved "Bernie". I pray that your soul will be flying high in the Heaven's with the beautiful angels. You were truly a loving, devoted & nurturing Mother. I am forever thankful for you being a constant in my life, & that we had you in our lives for a long time. May your dear soul Rest in Peace until we meet again.
