To my Sexton cousins all my love and deepest sympathy on the passing of your lovely mum. My Aunty Mary was such a constant in my life, always interested in me and my family , sometimes challenging me but supportive and loving. I was inspired by her thirst for knowledge and understanding of different people and lifestyles and her uncompromising faith and belief in her God and her love for Mary his mother. I remember so fondly the happy noisy messy house at Weerite where we spent so many happy visits and where she spent time tutoring us in elocution and our performances at local Eisteddfods and South Street competitions with her and my Mum and Dad so proudly watching. I am so pleased that such a lovely lady had such a peaceful and "good death" surrounded in the joy, laughter, chatter, music and tears of her gorgeous family. I feel saddened that the last link to my mum and dad has now been broken but what a wonderful reunion they will be having with the four of them back together and now watching over us all. what a wonderful legacy she has left and we must all commit to getting together to celebrate and remember our lovely parents and especially Mary, the good and faithful and faith filled servant. Big love and hugs to you all Gaye, Drew, Nick, Nyree and Hayden and Maddie xxxxxx

Our heartfelt sympathy to the Sexton family from the McDonald family in New Zealand. Mary was of course a New Zealander, born in the beautiful Bay of Plenty town of Opotiki in 1918. It has been a great joy to be welcomed by the Mary and wider Sexton family over the last two years and we have been privileged to hear Mary's memories of her early life and her memories of our shared family history. We cannot thank you all enough for sharing your memories with us.
We hope that you have a wonderful family day on Tuesday, celebrating Mary's life and remembering the 'gift' that she was to so many people.
Christine McDonald and sons David and Samuel.

Hi Sextons, from New Zealand. It was so great to meet Mary last year. My whole life I have been told I don't look like a McDonald, but Mary put me straight. She said that I'm a McDonald and the rest of my extended family all look like Mintos. She even had photos to prove it!!!! Big boost for the self-esteem :-) You are so lucky to have had such a great mum and grandmother. Blessings to you all, we will be thinking of you all on Tuesday.
Love David McDonald

Dear Tess, Paul, Olivia, Eleanor and Mary's whole family. Heaven will be blessed by a quiet, gentle faith-filled lady who's presence was always graceful, warm and hospitable. I am glad I knew Mary a little and she is now in my prayers as are all of you. May your farewell on Tuesday strengthen and sustain you into the future especially as Christmas approaches.
With my love and thoughts and prayers.
Jane
