Please accept my sincere sympathy on the passing of a most inspirational person. I will have a Mass said for the repose of her soul.

Marita, I feel truly blessed that I had the chance to thank you in person during your final days for the cherished childhood memories you gave me. Of all the treasured and special moments, my favourite will always be the summers at Point Lonsdale. I can still picture myself as a child, standing in your front doorway and seeing the top of the Point Lonsdale Christmas tree, glowing with its cross and lights. It was always the perfect ending to a joyful day—walking through the tea tree forest, swimming at Springs Beach, stopping for an ice cream on the way back to your flat, sharing lunch, playing snooker or cards, and finally, dad bringing fish and chips from Queenscliff for dinner. Such magical memories that I will always hold close for the rest of my days.

Marita - I cherish the happy memories we created over countless cups of coffee and shared meals. I will always be deeply grateful for the love and kindness you showed to my beautiful golden retrievers: Jack, Flair and Rose. Thank you for all the outings and wonderful memories my daughters Lisa, Kellie and Anthea, have because of you From trips to Gala and ten pin bowling, to summers at Point Lonsdale, birthday and Christmas celebrations, and concerts at Eastern Beach, you made those moments truly special. Karen
