On behalf of Gateways Support Services’ board, staff and community, I express our deepest condolences with Marina’s passing. Although with us for only a relatively short time, Marina made a lasting impression on all who worked with her. Marina’s kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for others left a mark on our team and our hearts. Marina was a bright presence and brought a sense of calm and integrity to everything she did. We are truly saddened by Marina’s loss and will remember her with great respect and affection. Dear Marina’s family, loved ones, and friends, Please accept our deepest condolences for your heartbreaking loss. Marina has been a dear friend of mine for over ten years, and I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared. I have so many fond memories of our chats and laughter during the years when our sons played soccer and basketball together. Whether we were cheering from the sidelines or catching up between games, Marina always brought warmth and calmness to every conversation. More recently, it was a real joy to have Marina join the same company where I work. We had some lovely times walking and chatting during our lunch breaks — those moments will stay with me always. Marina was a beautiful person — kind, caring, and deeply devoted to her loving family. Her passing is such a profound loss, and she will be missed more than words can express. Marina was the first person who taught me anything about WHS when I first started, and was always there for any questions or concerns I had. I will miss her dearly. My heart goes out to Marty and Tome on this sad day.

How lucky was I to have Marina as my first boss in WHS when I decided to take a career pivot at 48! We chatted about more than just work, had some similar life experiences and I appreciated her gift of being a straight shooter and an impressive work ethic mixed with compassion. Thanks for taking a chance on me when I had little experience you held my hand all the way.
