CONTRIBUTE
TO MEMORY TIMELINE
To all of dear Joy’s beautiful family, The passing of Joy is such sad news .. Your precious Mum & beautiful friend will be greatly missed here in Barwon Heads and beyond. I pray you will be comforted by the Holy Spirit, as you grieve your amazing Mother’s divine departure to her true home. A home she has been longing for to be with father God & reunited to her family in heaven. COG (child of God) thank you for showing each and every one of us how to walk the talk in Jesus. Your love, grace, truth, kindness & generous nature goes beyond measure. I miss you, your smile and beautiful blue eyes. Will see you again one day Joy Belle with love always your friend Coggie (Gayle)
Joy, you were my spiritual mentor but most of all my dear friend. Times spent with you firstly in Brighton and then in Barwon Heads were so precious. I will hang onto those memories all my life. Thank you for all you have to others in your life time. You truly were remarkable.
Sending deepest condolences! What a beautiful service today, joining Joy's family and friends to remember a life worth living. Joy is a beautiful friend for nearly 30 years, who constantly encourages and inspires me. Our shared interest in poetry and faith binds us together closely. She embodies her name - full of joy. It was such a privilege to celebrate her 100th birthday recently before I head for an overseas mission trip. Even then, she encouraged me to take some of her poetry books to bless other nations. I was going to visit her last weekend and introduce her to my 86-year-old mother as I drove from Melbourne….After hearing the news, my heart was filled with grief as I passed by her house at Barwen Head on the weekend. I will be forever missing her! However, I also know that we will meet again, not for too long. May she rest in peace and be filled with complete joy in the presence of glorious God. much love and prayers for the family at this time. Sharlee xo
>read onTo my dear cousins Lindy, Leys, John and Robin Your loving and moving tributes to your mum at her farewell made me even more aware of how privileged I was to know my Aunty Joy.
A true blessing from God to have a friend like Joy. She was my spiritual mum for sure and taught me how to walk with the Lord and to know him as friend and confidante. She was my example and yet i never felt less in her presence. She was my encourager, my friend, and so very human! The time I spent with her was so full of love and care. I knew she had my back and was faithful and honest in her speech so i knew she would not let me stray far from the truth. Bless you dearest Joy
