Gloria was a very valued member of the Wine and Food Society of Hobart during the time she lived here in Tassie. We had such wonderful fun times together and shared many meals and wine tastings with her.

While I was so sad to hear of Gloria’s passing I remember fondly all the good times we shared together, playing croquet , and especially the Melbourne Cup day celebrations at Gloria’s home, Gloria had a great sense of fun and I admired her “ joie de vivre” Sending love to her family at this difficult time. Gloria, a beautiful friend for so many years in Hobart, we shared lots of wonderful times together and had great fun. Friday nights fish & chips in Sandy Bay , our epicurean dinners all filled with laughter! I miss those days! Gloria will be sadly missed by all who knew her. My sincere condolences to her three girls, all family and Richmond. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Living life, living life, having the loves of her life. This is Glors, a life well lived, a glass half full, well in her case, totally full! But besides all that she was your mum, your Nan and great grand ma. A very special lady and to lose your mum imho is the hardest of all. Part of us goes when she goes, she is our past and no longer our future. She's the hand, the ear, the eyes that guided us. She is love. There's no topping that, if you get a good one and you certainly had that. May your celebration of her life be perfect for each of you and may she live on in glorious colour through you. When you are touched by mum, you can never be untouched. May angels wings surround and comfort you xxx
