Dear Renic family, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Franjo. His proud spirit and kind heart touched the lives of so many, and I feel grateful to have known him. He lived a remarkable life, deeply connected to the Croatian diaspora. I remember as a young Croatian/Aussie girl watching my dad and Franjo singing and talking together for hours, proudly sharing their love for their culture and friendship.
