Dear Wendie and Catriona, Our condolences to you with your recent loss of Doug. We send you our love and thanks for the friendship we shared over many years. One of our strongest memories is the welcome Doug and you Wendie, gave to us when we moved to Jan Juc. We shared many bubblies after that first bottle. Love and strength to you in the time ahead.

I remember Doug from our working days at the CBA, 367 Collins Street, Melbourne. It would have been in the early 1970s when I took over Extension 220, Loans Dept at 367. It was a VERY busy job on the front line of the Dept for personal and small business lending. I met Doug many times thereafter at work and much later I called in on him at Heyfield after he left the bank. Doug was a fine upstanding man who was a credit to himself and his family. Many many colleagues would be saddened to hear of his passing. RIP Doug. John Sampson, Ian Bailey, Reg Hesse, Jim Cannon and Peter Mitchell.
