TO MEMORY TIMELINE
On behalf of all the McRoberts family of Bingley Pde, Anglesea we send our love to Kristine and Zara and all other members of Denis's family. My grandpa Matthew McRoberts originally bought a little white weatherboard house next to Denis in about 1975. That sealed our connection to Anglesea and of course our great neighbour, Denis. Years later (1983) the little White House was destroyed in the Ash Wednesday fires but some amazing miracle saved Denis and his house. Once, Denis told me that whole story of Ash Wednesday and the day he stood in Bingley Pde. I so regret not recording that conversation. Thank you for all the memories. Love from all of us to you.
Dear Kris and families, So many fond memories of times with Denis. We met in Anglesea and we both had Dalmatians. Our Max was an escape artist. When the ranger caught him one day he promptly returned to Denis. Denis later delivered him home to us! More recently Kirs and I have become great friends. Dear Kristine and families condolences to all, I have only known Denis for about 6 years but in that short time I knew him as a gentleman and great partner to cousin Kris he was always welcoming and friendly it’s so sad to lose a fine man. Rest in the arms of Jesus Denis. Love from cousin Robyn
