Today I found I had lost yet another good friend this year. Barry Wasley was a gentle gentleman who loved gardening and made my garden lovely when I was too busy to do it myself. I came home to see tree begonias in pots or lovely succulents in another pot and I have these with me here a state away and enjoy years later and will continue so in remembrance of a friend who left me the better for having known him. A genuine person who in his partial retirement worked so well for the people he cared for in the manner of genuine friendship with these persons and I was always so confident of the high standards and warmed by the difference he made in their lives - I am sure if they were here today they also would add to this post. A life Ian, Peter and Gavin especially knew made a difference to their day.
