So sad to hear of Sue’s passing- Terry and family so sorry for your loss. It is many years since we were in nursing school together. School 52, Central Gippsland Hospital. From the beginning it was obvious to all Sue was ‘a cut above’ / special nurse. I especially remember all the fun times we shared off duty - so many happy times. Thinking of you all Jenny

Jerome Foenander on 4 October, 2023 at 1:08pm

Dear Terry, I just heard the oh so sad news of Sue's passing. It's a year since the three of us caught up briefly for dinner when I was back in Melbourne. That 90 minutes swept away the 25+ years of living in different states and countries. Sue was exactly the same, bubbly, bright and with a cheeky wit. Our formative adult years were spent doing stuff together and are etched in my memory. I remember her laughing and shaking her head when your Traralgon mates would come up to help build your house. She was adored by all of us.

Lorraine Broad on 3 October, 2023 at 4:23pm

Sending condolences to Terry, Hanna and Alexander and families from Karen, Peter, Kaitlin and Michael Hastie
I'm sure mum and dad (Ron and June Phillips) would have been saddened by this news.

I remember the dear little, curly, fair -haired girl that arrived with her family from Morwell on so many Christmas mornings to 33 York St Bonbeach.
I have recently learned that she went to Timor Leste as a midwife and brought practical advice to help women there.
I really liked her. I am sad that she has left us. But I know her family will talk of her often and she will live on through them.
My love to you all.
Tricia
