It was with sadness that I learnt of the passing of Martin. I had the pleasure of working with him at SRW for 13 years. He was very, very intelligent and was always across the key issues. Most of all he was very kind and took a genuine interest in your welfare. I recall on one occasion when I was struggling he asked how I was going and listened as I unloaded. He always made a point of following up and asking me how things were going.
Condolences to his family.

Martin was one of the loveliest and kindest men I have ever met. Considerate, practical, thoughtful and with a great sense of humour. He was a Christian who walked the walk, an inspiration to me. I am proud to have known him, and I extend my heartfelt sympathy to Sandra and all the family, and to all at the Queenscliff Uniting Church. Love from Richard, Heather, Rose and Odi.
