Dear Tom, Leanne, Kim, Terry and your families,
I was really sad to hear your news and have been thinking of you all.
Lots of memories have come flooding in.
Thinking of all the baseball games our families watched, your dad playing with mum’s brother, then Tom and Leigh playing in the Pee-Wees, our mums selling hotdogs in the clubroom kitchen and driving carloads of kids to the away games. All the Sunshine Baseball Club dinner dances and all the many glasses with the year printed in gold that filled their cupboards.
Your mum and dad’s unconditional support for my parents through the 14 months Leigh was going through experimental chemotherapies.
Mum always said how grateful she was for your mum’s support and friendship.
