My deepest sympathy to Lorraine & family on the passing of Laurie a true gentleman and one that set East Geelong football club up as a strong club back in 1970 (premiership coach)
He will be sadly missed.
What a wonderful send off by his family at St Mary’s church.
RIP
Neville Whitley

Dearest Lorraine, Christopher, Jason, Jacinta and families,
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. We have so many special memories of times shared with you, Lorraine and Laurie. Starting with the East Geelong days and babysitting your precious little ones, then Greg working with Laurie on projects and insurance matters. Big birthday celebrations and Bombers Vs Cats football matches. Although not together often, when we did, Laurie was larger than life and we'd take up where we left off. Such special memories.
Laurie's love is deep in your hearts always and nothing can take that away. God bless and watch over you always, love, Maureen & Greg & all our family, Marie and all the Carlon families. xxx

Lorraine and family, we are sorry to hear of your sad loss. We remember fondly the good times we shared at the East Geelong Football Club.
Due to an unavoidable commitment, we will be unable to attend Laurie’s funeral but our thoughts and prayers will be with you at this sad time
