Ken,

A kind hearted generous man, always willing to lend a hand and share knowledge and expertise. Thanks for all your help during our renovations and for the number of fishing trips at Indented. We never caught much, but you always sent the family home with many feeds of fish. A true gentleman.

Our thoughts are with Joy, Rohan, Lisa, Fiona and families.

Ken, thank you for welcoming me into the family all those years ago. You treated me like a daughter which I will forever be grateful for. I knew you as hard working, generous, proud and a gentle man. My life is better knowing how much you enriched it. Thank you for being a wonderful Pop to our kids. They will remember you with much love and great fondness. I will miss you very much Ken.

My Dad, Ken. 🌈

My dad was a very kind, caring, generous, calm and patient man.

He had a love of being on the water and fishing, especially fishing for King George whiting. This love of his also became my love.

Every summer for 45 years of my life we went to our family beach house at Indented Head. The unspoken lore at the beach house was, if the weather was good for fishing we went fishing. Dad taught me many things about the water, boating and fishing.

Fishing became my passion as much as it was his.

Dad and I enjoyed going out in the tinny and we had everything we needed for any situation 😊. There wasn't a lot of space left but Dad and I had a 'set-up', we knew where everything was and we fished well together, especially when ‘they’, the King George whiting, were on the bite and things got a bit hectic.

Fishing together in the boat was sacred for us both. The movement of the boat on the water was meditative and our environment was calm and peaceful. Only on slack water or when there was absolutely nothing biting would we engage in any extended conversation.

These are such precious heartfelt memories that will remain with me forever.

Thank you Dad, forever grateful.

I have only fond memories of Mr Burns caring & conservative nature and himself never being afraud of hard work.....of working for him stacking firewood in the truck on a saturday afternoon.....of cleaning bricks down at The Yard....of demolishing houses...Undoubtedly he was an influence on my upbringing ...May he catch catch as much fish as he wants Regards brad Clarke
