Dear Rhonda, Colleen, Dale, Mark and families, I have just watched the live steam of your mum’s funeral. I was so sorry I wasn’t able to get there. It was so lovely to see u all and hear of the beautiful, funny & many stories you all told of your mum. Merle was a beautiful, gracious, gentle woman who made everyone feel welcome & at home. We have so many precious memories of our times spent together at Hamlyn Heights Church, tennis, Church Camps at Anglesea, caravaning together, visiting each other while holidaying at Anglesea & Torquay, New Years’s Eve fun at Beulah St, MANY afternoon teas, slices, cakes & biscuits. Sharing each others family celebrations, sadnesses that life brings & enjoying those friendships for over 50yrs. I will be praying for you as you journey through your grief and adjusting to life without your mum. Both your mum & dad live through you all and your grandchildren. What a precious legacy! Sending you all my love & sincerest condolences. Judy 💞💞

To Rhonda and Family, Leigh and I would like to offer you all our deepest sympathy on the passing of Merle. We have only known Merle for the past 21 years since we also retired to Point Lonsdale We met your mum and dad first at Probus and then later worked with Merle at the Op Shop. Merle was a beautiful and true LADY who will be sadly missed. Even after she was no longer able to work at the Op Shop she helped me out by giving me the use of her empty garage to store the returns from the shop that were collected by the van from Geelong each Thursday. I will always be indebted to her. We were unable to attend the service today but thankyou for giving us the opporunity to watch it on line. Forever in our hearts Jenny and Leigh
