Our deepest condolences to Rod and the family. We have fond memories of Kath and Rod during our time studying in Melbourne. You were great neighbors to us and we remember the warm hospitality you provided us. Both of you are such a loving couple and we hope to emulate the love and patience you have for each other. We are very blessed to have met you and share those beautiful moments together. Kath will be greatly missed, but her spirit lives on in our hearts and in the memories we cherish.

Kath's passing is a great loss for all of us, and especially for her loving Rod and family. Knowing Kath proved to be special. She was a devoted wife, mother and precious friend. We had wonderful times together. Her beautifully calm and caring manner encouraged everyone. As a talented, selfless woman she inspired and supported those around her. "Perfect" describes her presence. We will always remember when we first met dear Kath, 47 years ago in the U.S. with recently born Stephanie in her arms and Narelle and in a pram, thousands of miles from home. The challenges that followed must have been enormous. Kath will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered having enriched so many lives.

My sincere condolences to the Reed family. I have fond memories as a young child of Kath as Narelle and I became best friends from a very young age. She was not only beautiful outside but had a soft and gentle nature and an amazing mother and wife to her lovely 3 daughters. She was as a child the most glamorous mother, she always looked stunning and her appearance to others inspiring. She was intelligent and a perfect role model to her daughters who she devoted her life to. She was the diamond 💎 amongst the stones. A rare beautiful lady that will be sadly missed. With loving memories, Lisa Malley & family.
