To Therese and children and their families, Jim’s siblings, extended family, friends and professional colleagues.. On behalf of many former Principals from the North Central Zone, especially St. Peter’s Epping, I offer our prayers and sincere condolences to all who had the privilege of knowing and working with Jim. Jim Sheedy was a much respected and dedicated Consultant to our school communities. He was a man of great faith, personal integrity and ever generous spirit both as a teacher and leader. He was a “Jesus” person in our midst… compassionate, affirming, encouraging, justice orientated and joyfilled. His smiling face coming through the door was always a sign of his unwavering support and sage advice. Whilst we all, especially his loving and loved family and dear friends will surely miss his physical presence in our lives his memory and legacy will continue to bless us. He now rests as he rightly deserves, in Eternal Peace in the arms of the God he served so faithfully and well. As we commend him to God the Most High, we give thanks for the opportunity to have shared some small part in Jim’s earthly journey and his immeasurable professional contributions to Catholic Education Victoria.
