Dear Theresa, Christopher and family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mum. I didn't know that she was ill and only yesterday heard of her passing via a tribute from Western Victoria PHN where we had both worked. I watched the live stream of her service and it was beautiful. I'm sure that she is so proud of you both! I have fond memories of Ingrid from our travels together visiting General Practices in our region. We had some great chats and she often spoke of you both and how much she loved you and her grandson. She was so friendly and kind and very knowledgeable and passionate about the provision of proper Aged Care for the elders in our community. We all learned so much from her! I also enjoyed a love of books with her as we were both in our WVPHN Book Club. The last time I saw Ingrid was at the restaurant location she used to own (Ebony & Ivory). She had moved on from the business and was there having lunch provided by the new owners. I was there too trying it for the first time under the new owners. I so admired how much strength and determination Ingrid had while she had the cafe and was also working full-time at WVPHN, then going to work at her cafe! I had previously had my own cafe too so we were able to share our experiences and how tough it could be. She was a little firecracker and an energetic marvel and also had such a great sense of humour! She will be missed by so many. Take care and memories eternal. She will live through you all, I'm sure. ๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒบ๐Ÿ’–
