To dearest Pop 44 years you were apart of my life through good times and bad. I will always be your first grand daughter. You were lucky to have 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. There are so many memories I have which I can share with Evelyn when I can without breaking down. My earliest memory as a little girl that sticks with me is crawling into bed with you and nan in St Albans and singing nursery rhymes together especially sitting on top of your knees singing London Bridge is falling down (at that the down part you would spread your legs and I would go tumbling down) we would laugh and laugh. As a teenager teaching me to drive in the little RED CAR (NO POWER STEERING) man I got muscles (those hill stop starts where going to be the death of me in learning but you and dad kept pushing me to do it and I’m so grateful that you both did ) or teaching me to drive in the FWD (OMG which I loved as I felt like I was on top of the world so high up driving) Then bring forward to the day Evelyn was born (7 years ago) the smile on your face I will never ever forget as she is born on your birthday (I will never forget that day when dad brought you both in to meet her) we will still keep celebrating the day as if your are here (nice cold beer I will have for you, the first one will be hard). I will miss you but I hope that you are at peace and no longer in pain. My you RIP pop Rayne xx
