My Aunty Nance was a second mum to me. With a sparkle in her eye, she had a way of drawing you in with, "now tell me how you really are dear!". I could talk to Aunty Nance about most things, we had so many talks about family, life, my work and relationships. She always kept up to date with what was happening in the world. I remember talking politics, religion, family and community with her. She was knowledgable and compassionate and had a sense of fairness, always with that sparkle in her eye and a great sense of humour. She would chuckle while she related a funny story. I loved having holidays in Chaddy, going to the shopping centre was all new to me! Teaching me how to get around Melb on trains and trams, travelling to Collins St, where she worked for the Uniting Church, having lunch at the Spaghetti Tree. Aunty Nance and Uncle Max always found room for visitors and loved to put on parties and games. My first trip out of Victoria was with them in a caravan to Q'ld and I lived with them when I started work in Melb. They put on my 21st Birthday when Mum and Dad were in Alice Springs. They were there for Andrew and Simon as they grew up, giving a sense of extended family. Aunty Nance you live on in our hearts and memories, having loved and inspired us throughout our lives. We love you, Liz, Andrew, Simon and Jesse xo

Nance, I still remember that moment when you greeted me with an outstretched hand in Chadstone, August 1969. I was still adjusting to life here - stilted command of English, hopeless in cooking, but you & family put up with me sharing your Christmas and weekends with me. Your presence at my university graduation, later on my wedding & birthdays in Sydney meant so much to me. On behalf of my late parents, Christine & children thank you, From Paul

Nancy is a very nice lady love to chat to the staff member . She always asking me if i have boyfriend hahaha hows my family back in Philippines . She wont forgot our conversation once I come back in her room the next few day, I checked her if she still remembered of what we talked about And yes it is everything is detailed when we talked again . Then she always asked me to do her nail done . Because we have an activity once a forthnight a pamper parlour for ladies who likes to their nails and she is one of them in my list to be pampered . And she always give me lollies /Chocolates afterwards for doing her nails hahaha she wants me to get fat (joke)I miss Nancy though I miss her smiles and her chatty personality . So in behalf of entire staff of Balmoral Grove , Please Accept our deepest sympathies .Were wishing you and your family courage and peace during this time of mourning.
